Evara holds a deep, deliberately varied reserve of people who could fit you — hundreds of them — and works it down while you sleep. Not a ranked list with a shuffle on top: a slate built to be varied on purpose.
Morning: a small, paced slate
Usually three people. Paced through the day rather than dumped at once. It's a short list because a short list is the product — a flood is just a deck with extra steps.
Every pick carries its reason
Each person arrives with the real signals that put them there, in plain language. "Both said quiet weekends beat crowded ones." "Neighborhood match — 0.6 miles apart." No black box, no mystery ranking.
One tap decides
Yes or no, and you're done. You'll only hear from us if it's mutual — Evara never shows you who liked you first, never counts it, and never sells you the answer.

The swipe deck still exists — it's called Explore and it lives behind one button, with an honest line at the top: you're browsing, Evara isn't. It's there when you want it. It just isn't the point.
No like counts, streaks or badges
Nothing on any screen is engineered to make you open the app out of anxiety. There is no number that goes up, no streak to protect, no rank to defend.
No one-sided interest, revealed or teased or sold
We never tell you who liked you first, never hint at it with a blurred face or a counter, and never charge to unlock it. That isn't a paywall we forgot to build — removing it is the whole point.
No tracking you across other apps
We don't follow you around the internet to sell ads against your love life. Your data is yours: view it, export it, or delete the account permanently from Settings.

A recommendation you can't interrogate is just an opinion with a UI. Evara names the signals it actually used — and if the reason is thin, you can see that too, which is the point.
Circle vouches, shared answers, distance, the way you both talk about weekends — they're inputs, and they show up as inputs. Nothing is scored that we won't show you.
The AI you can

Ocean explains Evara's picks in plain language, and pushes back — gently — when what you say you want and what you keep choosing stop agreeing.
- Ocean can't read your conversations. It knows your profile, your slate, and how you react to it — that's the entire input.
- Ocean never messages anyone for you. It can offer a draft when you ask for one; sending is always yours.
- Ocean doesn't do the matching. It explains and it coaches — the matchmaker is a separate thing, and Ocean has no vote in it.

How is this actually different from a swipe app?
A swipe app gives you a deck and makes the searching your job. Evara does the searching itself, overnight, and hands you a short list in the morning with the reasoning attached. The work moved from you to the app — that's the whole difference, and everything else on this page follows from it.
Can I still browse the normal way?
Yes. Explore is one tap away and it's a normal deck. We kept it because sometimes you just want to look around — but it's behind a button, and the app tells you plainly that when you're in there, you're browsing and Evara isn't.
Why only about three people a day?
Because the moment the slate gets long, it stops being a slate and becomes a deck with better manners. A small number forces every pick to be defensible — if we had to show you fifty people, most of them couldn't carry a real reason.
What can Ocean actually see?
Your profile, your slate, and how you react to it. Not your conversations — the system that feeds Ocean is built so message content can't reach it, and that's enforced in the code, not just promised. The one exception is if you explicitly hand Ocean a single conversation and ask it to help with a reply; nothing about that is automatic, and it's off by default.
Is Evara free?
Yes. The matchmaking, your daily slate, the reasons and deciding are free forever. Three optional subscriptions add room — unlimited likes above the free 32-a-day cap, event pricing and admission, and social links on your profile. Membership never buys a reveal, a like count, or a shortcut past someone else's choice. Full pricing and terms are above and in the app before any purchase.
Where is Evara available?
We open one metro at a time, and only once it's dense enough to be worth using. Download the app and it'll tell you exactly where you stand — if your city is open you get the whole product on day one, and if it isn't, you're on the list with a notification waiting for the day it flips.
How do you choose the next city?
You do. In the app you can put your metro forward and upvote the ones people have already suggested. We work down that board in order of real demand. Bringing people with you is the fastest way to move your city up it — a dating app is only as good as who's on it.
Will I find out if someone liked me?
Only if you both said yes. There's no likes-you screen, no counter, no blurred preview, and nothing to purchase that changes that. If it's mutual you'll know; if it isn't, neither of you carries it around.
Is Evara on Android?
Not yet — Evara is iPhone-only today. It's on the list, behind getting the first cities right.
